Summary: Beautiful setting, the rooms are part of the owners dwelling which we did not realise (may not have read listing correctly) stunning location, a shame the living areas do not take in the view. Hiccups on arrival but sorted promptly thank you

Summary: Please note: “read between the lines” if you are booking this property. We would like the owners to pay attention to the wording in their property description as what was advertised did not match the property. We arrived for a lovely weekend between friends and were astonished to find that there was no lounge or kitchen and that both dining areas were outside. One of the decks was adjacent to the owners lounge which meant they needed to pull the curtains for privacy. It was very awkward. The accommodation was adequate, however tired, and not clean - there was mould in both bedrooms, especially on the windows. The gardens are overgrown and need attention. The owners left us a lovely bottle of wine and did refund the cleaning fee due to the mould on the windows. If the owners paid attention to the concerns, the accommodation would be more suited to people that only require a shower and bed for a wedding for example. You can only realistically dine outside during the summer.

Summary: We had a lovely visit. Very easy property manager and prompt with communication. The lack of a lounge or proper kitchen needs to be heralded more clearly. It would be a property I would come back to if it had one. Also the listing says walkable to Matakana and then doesn't have any information about how to get there.

Summary: Very helpful hostess and a smooth rental, very clean property, well serviced for breakfast, homely touches and a delightful location. The lack of a proper lounge and indoor dining was somewhat restricting and led to the property being a bit over priced

Summary: We had a lovely weekend- scrupulously clean, gorgeous spot with gardens and a few nice spots to sit and enjoy, and a very generous breakfast spread. Lyn was a wonderful host too.
